Hi there everyone. Here’s a Christmas post to wish you all love over the festive break. We weren’t sure what we were going to do over the Christmas period, however, last night we were invited to the family home of our Landlords’. A bit nervous about that, I have to say….
I can’t for the life of me remember where the place is, but there is mobile reception if anyone fancies dropping us a line on the 25th (no guarantee you’ll actually get through if you do try, mind).
We’re all well (see photos below for proof!) and really starting to get settled in. We all went on a Matatu trip up country two days ago to see some of Hannah’s friends from her time here in 2000. I’ll leave it to Hannah to write this up some time in the New Year. It was a bit harrowing for her as one of here friends is very ill with TB and her other friend, who was previously rather prosperous, has fallen on harder times. Both stories involve feckless men to one degree or another…..
Anyway, I’ll finish this year’s postings by saying that I am looking in to ways of incorporating a photo gallery on this site, as requested by quite a few people! At present, there’s one linked but its in in test mode (ie it doesn’t work properly). There’s a tab above you can click for proof of this fact. If I still can’t get it working by the New Year, I’ll look for an alternative, perhaps external solution (maybe using my flickr account).
