A Family Safari
So, what do we do of a day? It can’t all be sitting on the swing chair of an afternoon sipping G&Ts whilst the sun sets can it?
This is what the Scannell half of the Scannell/Brown household gets up to on your average weekday. Having written it now, it seems a bit un-exciting (no lion wrestling or anything) but please read on if you’ve a spare 10 minutes!
We have moved to an enormous house in its own grounds.
It has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a huge living room, a study, and what seems to us the equavalent a botanical garden.
It comes with a live in gardener and two guard dogs too. We now have a live in house help (we have staff housing too) and a nanny who comes half days to help with Tommy. The (ensuite) guestroom is ready to receive visitors, so when you fancy a trip over here, let us know. As yet, no one has given us definite intention of visiting (except Gill and John who we’ll be seeing here at Christmas). Please put a comment here if you are planning to come and see us this year.
PS, Our mobiles still work, but as yet our landline remains disconnected.
Sorry that we haven’t put anything on the website for a while. Its a sign of how busy we have been rather than problems with the site. Anyway, here’s a little update of our news…
