Sorry there’s been no news for a while…. Unfortunately, you’ll have to wait a little longer for anything earth shattering to be posted because I’m going to be running some maintenance on the server and moving from Nucleus CMS to Wordpress. The main reason is, I’m really struggling to get the photo gallery to work plugin to work on Nucleus. I’m not sure why, but it just doesn’t work nicely on the server we have. Also, the HTML stripping/BBcode conversion in the comments/posts is driving me to distraction. Its a case of having installed something (the BBCode plugin) and it going an ruining a load of earlier posts….
So, for those of you who haven’t a clue what I’m on about, I’m basically saying you can expect the site to be completely mangled for a while as I migrate databases and whatnot. The site will almost certainly look entirely different when it comes back online as the skin I’ve been using is customised to fit Nucleus.
With any luck, I should manage to keep everyones user info saved (I even remembered to back up for once) so you should be able to log in as before (thats a couple of shoulds there, just so you’re forewarned).
For all those we saw during our (all too brief) visit to the UK, it was great to see you and thanks for having us over. Tommy’s settled back in school and Hannah’s off working out in the field, so life’s back to normal here. We look forward to seeing those who are coming over as and when you do!
