I have the phone light on the livebox and internet connection and until a week ago a telephone line via livebox working. All needed rebooting after usual twice monthly drop out but NO phone. Dialling in I have a ringing tone which ceases if I switch off the Livebox. I have reinstalled sofware and waited the usual 5 days but still no outbound line. Checked phone - ok, any suggestions?

I’m afraid this doesn’t work if there is no ‘phone light on the Livebox. Have been without second line for more than two months having changed everything including the Livebox.

They tell me their system says that the second line is enabled my browser tells me it’s not.

I’m with Be* now and they’re great. For some strange reason Orange are still billing me for internet services despite the fact that I’ve had no service from them since November 2007 and that I migrated to Be in January…

And finally, Orange have stopped billing me. After a 20 minute row, they even agreed to credit me back… No sign of the credit yet, but at least there’s been no bill yet.

Orange Livebox DETAILS ARE ON GOOGLE but I’m pleased you have your answerphone working now. Thought I would look at my accumulated bookmarks and wondered if you kept your Wordpress up to date. Keep posting. I have Wordpress too and blogger but they are mainly about Zotero and the OU course “Beyond Google”.

Welll…. the details may well be on google - including my own post at number three - but they weren’t there at the time I wrote this….
